Family of 4 vacationed in Steamboat Springs over Memorial Day weekend.
We had Spring rolls, fried Dumplings, Sweet & Sour Chicken, General Tso Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Hawaiian Fried Rice, and an Asian Chicken Salad.
The appetizers were delicious: Crispy Spring rolls with tasty filling and a sweet chili sauce; and nice dumplings with good sauce.
The Salad was fine, with nice pieces of chicken but minimum greens, which consisted mostly of spinach leaves and a bit of "fancy" lettuce. I would suggest more salad for this dish; however, it tasted very good.
All the chicken entrees were very good to delicious, with lots of sauce. A dish of white rice accompanied each.
The Hawaiian fried rice was delicious, made with shrimp, chicken, beef and vegetables, plus pineapple.
We took home some leftovers, which were just as delicious eaten cold the next day. -

Sometimes you're in a pinch and want Chinese food. Sometimes you're travelling around Steamboat Springs, CO and you need to get takeout before hitting the road. When these two situations collide, you're really only left with one option, 720 Fusion Fresh in the downtown area of Steamboat Springs.
Of course, there are pros and cons when there's only one restaurant of a particular style in an area. One pro being, there's not much difficulty trying to decide which Chinese restaurant you're going to, there's only one! On the other hand, just knowing some basic economics (don't worry, you only need to be like me and know Econ as much as people happened to mention in passing while at college), you know that monopolization typically doesn't yield great products for consumers. Similarly, the situation for 720 Fusion Fresh has left a restaurant with *meh* offerings, and not great customer service.
My family and I stopped by one Saturday night to make an order for takeout. The menu is interesting, and they have really tried to pull of the "fusion" idea, but the menu layout is confusing, and It's just doing too much for its own good. The food itself is alright, but it's certainly not the good, cheap, Chinese food I'm often looking for.
Keto / Low-Carb Folks: I think the move here is to get a Broccoli Stir Fry dish with either Chicken or Beef. I had the chicken, but in the moment, I thought that it wasn't quite enough food without eating the rice. That said, I'm not sure that beef wouldn't have been better.
In summary, this restaurant is the epitome of a 3-star review. Not bad, not great, but in a pinch, it'll get the job done. -

Had my last meal here today. When they first started it wasn't too bad, food was consistent and rice was always good. Sushi today was mushy, WAY overloaded with sauces. For the first time ever, I spit out the rice and threw my meal away. I'll miss the crab rangoon filling as it's pretty good.

Ok sushi. Spider roll was cold. Saki tasted like soapy water. Edamame very good. Seaweed salad excellent. I would say 3 stars for inconsistency. No waiting.

So this place has terrible reviews, and I am surprised by that. By no means was it the best sushi I've ever tasted, but it was definitely delicious! The service was a little subpar overall (slow, one of them was not very friendly, no host greeted us), but the food was yummy! They had tamari for me since I am gluten free and told me not to order the spicy rolls. We had a jalapeo hamachi appetizer that was yummy. My dad had the teriyaki chicken which looked delicious, and he very much enjoyed it. The rest of us had spicy tuna, rainbow roll, avocado asparagus cucumber roll, and philly rolls. We finished every bite. One thing we enjoyed about this place was that it was quieter, so you could actually hear each other talking across the table. Overall, this place is decent - in our opinion it definitely doesn't deserve a 1 or 2 star review by any means!
